Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the waliFit mobile app, website, backend services, Wali AI features, and related services. By creating an account or using waliFit, the user agrees to these Terms.

Eligibility

Users must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in their country or region. If a user is under the age of majority, they may use waliFit only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

waliFit Is Not Medical Advice

waliFit is a fitness, training, habit, and coaching-support app. waliFit, Wali AI, training plans, workout adjustments, nutrition guidance, run metrics, Vitality Tree feedback, and social features do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, clinical nutrition advice, or emergency services.

Users are responsible for deciding whether training, running, diet, hydration, supplements, or lifestyle changes are appropriate for them. Users should consult a qualified medical, fitness, or nutrition professional before starting or changing a fitness program, especially if they have a medical condition, injury, pain, pregnancy, medication use, eating disorder history, or other health concern.

Assumption of Risk

Exercise, running, strength training, conditioning, diet changes, hydration changes, and using fitness advice involve risks, including injury, illness, overtraining, dehydration, or other harm. By using waliFit, users understand and accept these risks.

Users should stop exercising and seek professional help if they experience chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath, sudden weakness, severe pain, symptoms of heat illness, signs of injury, or any other concerning symptoms.

Emergency and Safety Boundaries

waliFit is not an emergency service. Users should call local emergency services immediately for urgent or life-threatening situations. Wali AI should not be used for crisis support, medical emergencies, urgent injury assessment, medication decisions, diagnosis, or treatment.

User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, safeguarding login credentials, and all activity under their account. Users must notify waliFit if they believe their account has been compromised.

Acceptable Use

Users may not:

• Use waliFit for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unsafe purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, attack, or interfere with waliFit systems.
• Upload malware or content that violates another person's rights.
• Misrepresent identity, impersonate others, or abuse social features.
• Use Wali AI to seek instructions for self-harm, harming others, evading law enforcement, dangerous substance use, illegal conduct, or other unsafe behavior.
• Rely on waliFit as a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, or nutrition advice.

User Content

Users may enter workout notes, messages, profile content, photos, training goals, health-related context, and other content into waliFit. Users retain ownership of their content, but grant waliFit permission to host, process, display, transmit, analyze, and use it as needed to provide, secure, improve, and support the service, subject to privacy settings and the Privacy Policy.

Users are responsible for the content they submit and must have rights to submit it.

AI Features

Wali AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for a user's circumstances. AI output should be treated as informational training support, not professional advice. Users should independently evaluate AI suggestions and consult qualified professionals for health decisions.

waliFit may route AI requests to third-party providers, including Anthropic and Google. AI features may use profile, workout, nutrition, run, calendar, Vitality Tree, and social context to personalize responses. Users can opt out of waliFit using personal content for waliFit AI training or evaluation datasets, but AI processing may still occur to provide requested AI features. Social Features and Content Moderation

Arena, groups, leaderboards, PR feeds, run clubs, friends, and messages may share user activity with other users. Users should avoid posting sensitive information and should use respectful conduct. waliFit may remove content, restrict accounts, or disable social features to protect users and the service.

Users may report objectionable content from within the app and may block other users to prevent further interaction. waliFit filters posts at submission time and aims to review reports of objectionable content, abusive users, or other policy violations within 24 hours, taking action that may include removing content, restricting accounts, or, in serious cases, terminating accounts. Users with questions or unresolved reports may contact support@walifit.app.

Data Export and Account Deletion

Users may request a JSON export of their data and may delete their account through Settings or the account deletion page. Account deletion is intended to immediately deactivate the account and permanently delete eligible data after 30 days, subject to legal, safety, security, fraud-prevention, and compliance retention needs.

Subscriptions and Payments

V1 is free. If waliFit adds paid features, subscriptions, or purchases later, additional payment terms will apply and will be presented before purchase.

Changes to the Service

waliFit may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, providers, integrations, or availability. waliFit may update these Terms as features or legal requirements change. Continued use after updated Terms become effective means the user accepts the updated Terms.

Termination

waliFit may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms, creates risk for other users, abuses the service, or uses waliFit unlawfully. Users may stop using waliFit at any time and may delete their account in Settings.

Disclaimers

waliFit is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, waliFit disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, waliFit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, training results, or fitness outcomes arising from use of the service.

Governing Law and Disputes
