Common questions

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, visit the account deletion page or email support@walifit.app from your account address.

How do I export my data?

Settings → Account → Export My Data. We send a JSON file containing your profile, workouts, runs, nutrition logs, Vitality Tree state, calendar, and social data.

Why does waliFit need health data permission?

We only read your daily step count from Apple Health or Health Connect. Steps power the activity pillar of your Vitality Tree. We never write to your health record and never read other health data without an explicit prompt.

How does GPS tracking work during a run?

WaliRun reads your location only while a run is active and the app is in the foreground. We do not track location in the background. Routes stay on your device until you save the run.

Is Wali AI safe? Can it give medical advice?

Wali AI is a training assistant, not a medical professional. It cannot diagnose, treat, or assess injuries. Always consult a qualified professional for health decisions. See the AI & Data Disclosure for details.

Can I opt out of AI training?

Yes. Settings → AI & Data → toggle 'Opt out of AI training'. When enabled, your personal content will not be used to improve waliFit AI models. Your data is still processed to deliver the AI feature you request.

Why are my steps lower than my phone shows?

We read steps from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), not directly from the pedometer. Sync delays can briefly cause a small mismatch. The number reconciles within a few minutes.

Is waliFit free?

Yes. Version 1 is fully free with no in-app purchases. We will give clear notice before introducing any paid features.

Which devices does waliFit support?

iPhone running iOS 16 or later, and Android phones running Android 11 (API 30) or later with Health Connect installed.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Email support@walifit.app with as much detail as possible. Screenshots and the exact steps to reproduce help us fix things faster.
